East City Grill of Weston

This is a good place to go for a nice dinner.  This restaurant is located in Weston Town Center.   It specializes in Seafood, Steak and Pasta.  It is good but not amazing so I would suggest this restaurant only to people who live in the immediate area.


I went to this restaurant on Friday night around 7 pm and did not need a reservation.  There were plenty of tables available as compared to Japan Inn next door which had a 30 minute wait.  I had the wedge salad and the filet mignon.  Both were prepared as ordered and both were good.  Not the best I ever had but good nonetheless.

The service was attentive.  The decor was nice.  

Hot Diggity Dogs of Dania Beach

On the way back to Weston From Aventura Mall, I found a small hot dog shack.  The serve two types of hot dogs.  Being originally from Chicago, I went with the Vienna Beef Hotdog which was served Chicago Style.  It reminded me of back home; it was prepared correctly.  At $2.95 it is also priced competitively to Chicago hotdog stands.  Although you sit on picnic tables, the hot dog is so worth the lack of ambience.  The waffle fries were also good.  My only complaint is Pepsi products not coke.  The employees were extremely helpful.  They are not opened Sundays.  Absolutely worth the drive.

Portillo's

Having visited the Chicago area this past week.  I have to post that I am enamored with this fast food restaurant.  I had the Chopped Salad and the Italian Beef and it was probably the best fast food experience I have ever had in the Chicagoland area.

Bamboo Noah's-LOVE IT!!!!

 I decided to test Bamboo Noah's for myself. I chose to dine in.


My first impression was that the place was immaculate. Immediately upon entering, I was greated by a friendly employee. Noah was there and he suggested the teriyaki chicken stir fry, stir fried veggies and jasmine rice with cranberries and cashews.


The food was all served piping hot and was delicious. Definately food worthy of a high end sit down restaurant in a quick serve format. I loved that I could get a quality, healthy meal fast. I think this restaurant is perfect for business people or even families.
